How to: Download and print all e-tickets or badges

Would you like to print all e-tickets for your event yourself or use them as badges? In this article, we will guide you step by step on how to download all tickets and, if needed, create your own badges or tickets. This can be particularly useful if you require high-quality tickets or personalised badges, for example, for VIP guests.

A customised ticket with an Oniva QR code.

Steps to download all e-tickets

If you want to print the tickets directly, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to Contacts in your event
  2. Select the "Registered" filter to display all registered participants
  3. Click on "Select all" to mark all entries
  4. Choose "Download e-tickets"

The tickets will be sent to you via email as a ZIP file containing PDFs. You need to unzip the file before printing the tickets.

Creating your own badges or e-tickets

If you want to create customised badges or tickets with your own design, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Bookings in your event
  2. Select the "Registered" filter to view all active bookings
  3. Click on "Download" – this will generate an Excel file with all participant data

This file can be used to print personalised badges or tickets.

Using design software

The Excel file can be imported into programs such as Adobe InDesign or Microsoft Word to create personalised badges or tickets using a mail merge function.

Integrating a QR code for check-in

To allow your guests to check in easily, you can print a QR code on the badges or tickets:

  • Use the information from the "E-ticket identifier" column in the Excel file
  • Generate a QR code from this data using the design software
  • Place the QR code on the badge or ticket
  • At the event, this QR code can be scanned using the Oniva Check-in App to grant guests entry

Sending printed tickets or badges

Once printed, you can send the badges or tickets to your guests. This can be done via post or distributed on the event day. This is particularly useful for exclusive or high-quality printed tickets, such as those for VIP events or special occasions.
