Ticket coordinators for bookings on request

In Oniva, each account can have a designated ticket coordinator. These individuals can book events or approve booking requests on behalf of the account holder. However, the approval by the ticket coordinator only changes the booking status to "pending."

Ticket coordinators for bookings on request

Ticket coordinators can only be set for contacts who have an account. For events without account restrictions (external events), approval is granted by the admin only.

The final approval must be done by an event admin, workspace admin, or platform admin.

Make a booking on request as a ticket coordinator for users

  1. Go to your event and open the bookings
  2. Select "Create booking"
  3. Decide if you want to create the booking with an existing or a new contact and select the authorization group
  4. Select the user account
Tip: Account Not Found?
Each account can have an assigned ticket coordinator. Only the designated ticket coordinator and their deputy can book for that account. If the account you want to book for is not visible, contact your admin as you may lack the necessary permissions.

Approve a booking on request as a ticket coordinator for users

  1. Open the admin area of Oniva
  2. Open booking via "My open booking requests"
  3. Confirm or decline
Tip: Overview in the dashboard
All bookings for the accounts for which the ticket coordinator is responsible are displayed in the admin dashboard and in the favorites.

Define deputy as ticket coordinator

  1. Open the admin area of Oniva
  2. Open your own account
  3. Enter the desired deputy

Refunds

Refunds are subject to a fee of CHF 2.50 per transaction in addition to the processing fee. Whether this fee will be borne by the guest or the organizer can be determined by you. The refund will then be processed for the full or partial amount. Ideally, you should specify this in your guest terms and conditions.
