The calendar file is automatically sent with the booking confirmation when guests register for an event on Oniva. The content of the calendar file cannot be individually edited and always displays the event description text found under "Edit event" → "Event information." If your description includes additional information that should not appear in the calendar file (e.g., additional details, booking information, etc.), these can be placed under "Additional content."
The calendar file is not sent with test emails. It is only included in actual booking confirmations.
The calendar file can also be disabled. In the respective authorization group under the registration and access settings, the file can be deactivated. Simply go to "Edit event" → "Autorization groups" → "Registration and access settings" and select the option to disable the calendar file.
No changes can be made after the calendar file has been sent. The file is sent as an attachment, so users receive a local copy that they can add to their calendar. If the time of your event changes after registered guests have already received the calendar file, we recommend informing guests directly about the changes via event campaigns.
